New post.
I wrote this last night (last night being monday night. I forgot to hit "post" because I am intelligent. So I'm posting it today, Tuesday)
I don't remember what I did yesterday all day. My brain can't be bothered to stretch that far back and recall. But what I do remember, which was definitely a highlight of the day, was the very end. There was a Comedy Show out on the main Quad, and the comedians who came were Tom Clark, who is seriously awesome. Watching him, I didn't stop laughing for about 20 minutes, or however long he was up. Then there was Anjelah Johnson, who was also good, but. Personally I preferred Tom Clark. I don't think he deserves to be the opening act, he's equally good or maybe even better than Anjelah Johnson. Anywho, I laughed more. Anjelah Johnson is more well known, though? Having been on Mad TV as Bon Qui Qui and then just as herself being a stand up comedian, I suppose it makes sense that she was the main act. Meah. I just thought Clark was better.
Anyway, so the comedy show was fun fun fun, then I went and ate at Parkside. I believe I've spoken about Parkside already, it's a cafeteria on campus where you use meals from your meal plan to gain entry, then can eat unlimited quantities of their food. And their food is. Amazing. Wonderful. Delicious. Gorgeous. FROM THE HEAVENS.
And then, well, it was late so I went back to my room and slept.
Today though, today was sort of a big day in my life at university. That is, since it was my first day of classes, it's sort of a day to remember, I suppose. I had a class from all four of my subjects today, those being Biology Lecture, Chemistry Lecture, Writing Lecture, and History Lecture. (my history class is called "The Evolution Debates"). The Biology professor seems nice, but able to completely destroy a student if they get out of line. The Chemistry and Writing Professors seem really cool and capable, and the History teacher, well, he is the quintessential American University professor; he looks like a librarian (turns out he IS an actual librarian), sorta like Eugene the Librarian from Britain's got Talent. And is very american. Yes.
All in all, my professors seem alright, and I look forward to having a good semester.
... So yes. That is what I wrote last night, but forgot to hit 'post' because I was exhausted and braindead. Apparently I fell asleep about 2 minutes after I got off the computer, while lying in bed trying to read the first page of a book about evolution. woooo fun.
