Personally, I find that this song reflects one of my must fundamental idealogical constants;
"smile despite everything."
People who spend enough time with me will know that I say that all the time, because really, as the song says, "Smile, what's the use of crying? You'll find that life is still worthwhile, if you'll just smile."
