School is going well, so far I've kept up with all of my courses, though the volume of reading that has to be done is a little bit overwhelming.
Recently I applied for a position as a Health Educator with Peer Health Exchange. Here's their website, have a look:

Yesterday evening I was sent an email offering me a position as Health Educator, teaching the kids a workshop about HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) and STIs (Sexually Transmitted Infections). YAY! I can't wait to start... The first meeting will be this Wednesday, meaning tomorrow, at 20:30. :)

Speaking of first meetings, I attended the first meeting of the USC Red Cross group last Tuesday, and the next meeting is next Tuesday at 20:00... So I suppose I'm a part of that too. :)
So this year, I'm much more involved with extracurricular activities! I'm so glad, because last year I felt really, awfully useless. I'm very happy to be getting involved with campus organizations, finally! Not only am I doing something productive to help others, I am also in groups that are great additions to my CV/resume... maybe next year I'll actually be able to get a proper internship over the summer or something! Who knows!
I feel very optimistic about life as of late.
Yay! :)
Okay, I'm going to go do some chemistry work now, until next time!
ps. I forgot to mention, but I am also part of a club called Wushu Nation, which is where basically, we learn performace-based martial arts and then put on shows at events around campus. I love it! :)
